"My son has been playing Dungeons & Dragons for the past six months with Ryan as his Dungeon Master, and he absolutely loves it. He’d give Ryan a 10/10 without hesitation. He looks forward to every session, enjoys the creative campaigns Ryan comes up with, and loves getting to see and play with his friends each week. As a parent, I really appreciate that it’s such a positive, imaginative, and creative outlet for him. We’ve had a great experience and highly recommend this D&D club! Thank you Ryan!!"

We make it easy for your child to start playing Dungeons and Dragons online

Game sessions take place via Zoom. We use video so we know everyone is a real human having fun. It’s easy to join. We’ll send you a link after registration.

We use a virtual tabletop, or “VTT” for short, for playing tabletop games online. This helps with figuring out stuff like whether the dragon’s fire breath hits everyone or just roasts Sir Frankus Tankus. Also, it’s great for giving players pretty visuals of the monsters and locations they discover. There are even virtual dice!

Meet the Game Master

Hey! I’m Ryan. I’ve been running D&D games since I learned to play back in the 90’s. I love introducing new players to the hobby and guiding them through fun, often silly, adventures. I use funny voices, music, and art to help bring players into the game world. I began running games professionally for adults in 21′. In 23′, I left my corporate job to become a homeschooling dad of two young kiddos and to focus on helping forge more young dungeoneers.

FAQ

Dungeons and Dragons (DnD) is a cooperative storytelling game where players assume the roles of characters in a fantasy world. Through dice rolls and collaborative decision-making, they embark on adventures crafted by a dungeon master, engaging in imaginative storytelling, problem-solving, and epic quests together.

The Dungeon Master, or Game Master, facilitates the DnD adventure. They guide the players through the game world, set the scene, weave a story with interactions from the players, manage the rules, and play the role of all the monsters and non-player characters (NPCs).

Young Dungeoneers welcomes all children ages 9 to 17. Adventure Campaigns are designed for specific age groups as listed in the event description, provide age-appropriate content, and ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Playing DnD fosters creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and social skills. It encourages imagination and allows children to explore complex concepts, including risk-taking, in a fun and interactive way.

For safety reasons, only children are allowed to participate in publicly listed events. Parents/Caregivers are welcome to observe their child off camera. If you would like to book a private event for your family, please reach out to ryanofcarolina@gmail.com or use the Contact form below.

No prior experience is required! Our adventures are beginner-friendly, and the Dungeon Master will guide players through the rules and gameplay mechanics.

We hold sessions weekly via Zoom, and each session lasts 90 minutes. We use online platforms to host the game and provide all necessary instructions and materials to participants. Other event types may be listed in the future.

An ongoing weekly campaign costs just $120 per month. This covers all sessions, materials, and guidance from your professional Dungeon Master. Other event types will have the cost listed in the event description.

Yes, the number of participants are limited to six to ensure each child receives personalized attention and a quality gaming experience. Spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis though some exceptions may be made.
